La Villa Hefferlin situada en 33, rue de Marnes, Ville-d'Avray, fue construida entre 1931 y 1932 con proyecto de André Lurçat.
En 1931, Lurçat se encuentra en plenitud de facultades trabajando en grandes proyecto. En París y sus suburbios continúa su búsqueda de un nuevo habitat a través de una serie de casas privasas.

Built for an American couple, the villa Hefferlin is the most successful and most ambitious. The theme of openings in length that it combines the smooth detachment plans and meets all the archetypes of the modern movement. Garden side, two side walls, the horizontal line of the balcony and awning of the terrace draw a virtual setting. It gives the whole so light that the house seems off the ground. Playing on the horizontal and transparencies, the villa is spread over the entire width of the bridge. Over an architectural promenade, a complex circuit combines indoor and outdoor connecting the various areas of the house, terraces and staircases. Bay Garden consisted of thirty-four glass panels that are folded accordion. Inside, furniture "buildings" were accompanied by furniture "flying", designed by Lurçat. The villa is listed on the Inventory of historical monuments since 1974.
